Everytime WordPress Updates their WordPress Core to a major release (1.2.3.4 and soon 5) we have to ensure that all of our websites and plugins we support and run are compatible. Now that we have possibly the biggest upgrade coming in December we will need to do some major due diligence.

For those of you who have upgraded your website in the last five years that will not be an issue, for others (less than 5% of our base). It may well be. If you have a website with us that has not been significantly upgraded in the last five years, we will contact you. We will not be renewing your site to WordPress 5.0.

The vast majority of our clients will be upgraded and you will sleep wistfully at night. However, for the following sites, there will be no upgrade in the foreseeable future!

  • Sites that have Plugins installed without clearance from our team.
