ShortPixel Image Compression: In the past few months, we have been working hard on getting things right on all of our clients’ websites. Yes, SEO is for the most part – up to the customer to continuously produce fresh, unique relevant well-formulated content. But we also have to make sure we have all the tools in place for them to achieve that. Some of these tools require the clients to make it work and some do all the work in the backend.
We also have to make sure we have all the tools in place for them to achieve that and some of these tools require the clients to make it work, and some do all the work in the backend. The best way we found is for the system to work on the backend. So now when a client uploads a large image, we compress this image. In some cases resize this image on the fly with ShortPixel.
A few months back we started researching tools to compress lossless images on the client side each time they upload a new file. We looked at some products before finally choosing ShortPixel. The ShortPixel plugin was installed into your every one of our clients WordPress websites. Everything was set up, and we began compressing all of our client’s images, yes over 400,000. ShortPixel works in the background and reduces image sizes significantly improving site speed and SEO for all of our clients.
Why We Did it?
Simple, some of our clients know how to compress images before upload by using tools such as Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. However, the majority do not, we could try to teach our clients how to optimize images first. The reality is that they are either too busy or lack the technical expertise and software tools to do this.
ShortPixel, while a significant cost to our company, we see the benefits to our clients outweigh the expense to us.
All sites now run ShortPixel, all new sites have it included with our other tools to increase site speed and SEO. So, for now, enjoy your faster load times and perfect pixel images. Also, remember that if you ever need any help you can always email us.
